Stonewalling
The worst sin in the corporation is: asking a question.
Once in a while, you find yourself sitting in the meeting and getting really, really tired listening to people building a house of cards out of 'power words' and PowerPoint presentations. It gets so embarrassing that you eventually can't tolerate it anymore, open your mouth and ask a single question that demolishes this whole house of cards. And...
Nothing happens, basically. People in the room look at you reproachfully, sit in a dead silence for a second, as if in disbelief that someone had such lack of tact as to ask such a question, and then...
just keep going as if they haven't heard the question.
